xoxo is a new innovative concept which will be offering top of the line modern American/Japanese cuisine, fun and innovative creative cocktails, wine, beer & sake mixed with a fantastic experience and atmosphere in Chestnut Hill, MA.
We are now hiring bartenders and bar-back staff for opening of this new exiting Restaurant in the coming weeks.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Bartenders.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and creating delightful dining experiences.
If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude, we want to hear from you! Essential Job Elements Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company's guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally Weekend work availability is needed including every other Sunday, mid-week evenings availability is a plus! Prepare alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Extensive Wine Knowledge is a Plus Skills and requirements:
High school diploma/GED required 1
years' experience working as a bartender Certification as a mixologist from a reputable bartending school preferred Must be able to lift 20 pound boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean TIPS Certification is a plus Job Types:
