As a Sr Java Developer, you will be playing a pivotal role in the design and development of high-performance, scalable applications for our a Fintech industry client.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.
Your role will involve working closely with a team of developers and other IT professionals to develop and optimize our client's software solutions.
You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept to final release, ensuring that all applications meet both technical and business requirements.
Responsibilities:
1.
Design, develop and implement high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring OR Spring Boot.
2.
Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3.
Develop and maintain APIs to integrate with other systems and services.
4.
Utilize AWS for cloud-based solutions and services.
5.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team.
6.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
7.
Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain current and competitive.
8.
Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in backend Java development.
3.
At least 3 years of experience in the fintech or marketing industry.
4.
Expert knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.
5.
Proven experience with AWS and API development.
6.
Strong understanding of Java 8 and its features.
7.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
8.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior developers.
10.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
