11 an hour 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Director, Office for Sponsored Programs and assists the Director in the management of the office by performing the following functions:
Collaborate with Director and Associate Directors and OSP Sponsored Programs Administration Teams on all office business matters.
Update OSP Operating Manuals in conjunction with the Director and Associate Directors.
Work with Director on all department purchases.
Assist in editing monthly proposal and award reports.
Assist with design of OSP Newsletter and office materials.
Enter all checks and wired funds received from sponsors into the banking system.
Receive and distribute grant journal entry transactions to OSP Sponsored Programs Administration Teams.
Coordinate distribution of grant termination notices to departments.
Process grant refund checks to sponsors.
Assist with special projects.
Hiring Range:
$24.
09/hr to $30.
11/hr.
Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years' experience working in similar position.
Excellent customer service and communications skills in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment is required.
Experience with Peoplesoft Financial systems is preferred.
